Alpine is a nice smooth full grain leather with a tight flesh and medium/firm temper.
Please note this article is not struck, meaning the dye does not penetrate fully through the skin (as seen in photo)
Would be good for heavy duty projects or small desk pads, straps, etc.
If dry splitting please note that the flesh side will likey be patchy and should not be split below 4oz.
